PG Department of History
The Department of History is one of the prestigious departments of the college which was established in the Year 2018
The department comprises of well qualified staff. Everyone of us are actively involved in Research. Faculty participation in various international , national, and state level is noteworthy. Guidance for competitive exams like UPSC/ MPSC, NET/SET is actively provided in the department. Students are also guided for their research work.
Library
Our Department has a well equipped library which consists of more than 100 standard text and reference books. This proves to be a treasure for History lovers. We also have a digital library in our department which consist more than several books.
We also have a Audio books which provide help to the blind students. Books for various competitive exams are available in the department.

Eligibility
Eligibility for the students to join M.A in History is to have Completed B.A in History with minimum 55% marks. Students those who had taken subject other than History will have to give an exam which will be conducted by the college.
Admission Procedure
For First Year:
- Students should have passed the B.A in History from Recognised University.
Application for admission to the college must be made on the prescribed printed form. The form must be accompanied by :
- 2 Photocopies of HSC, Sem V, Sem VI Marksheet and Transfer Certificate. Students from Other than Mumbai University will require Marksheet Verification and Migration Certificate.
- 2 Passport Size Photographs
- Aadhar Card- 1 Photocopy
- If there is any gap in academic career, ‘Gap Certificate’ is required to attach along with its Photo copy with admission form.
